Meet Mary

Hi, I'm Mary and I am a Holistic Health Coach and Wellness Advocate!
You are a unique bio-individual. So your health and wellness needs may not fit into a pre-defined lifestyle program. Together, we will create a personalized action plan, based on your goals, that moves you toward your vision of health for your unique body, lifestyle, preferences and resources.
I will help you develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes to improve your energy, balance and health.
In our sessions together, I will listen to you talk about your history, your challenges, and your desires. We will look at how all areas of your life are connected, creating more awareness for positive change.
I am a Certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). I pursued an education at IIN to further expand my understanding of food and the impact it has on our bodies. IIN provides a year-long, web-based program that teaches a holistic view of Nutrition, which includes exposure to over 100 dietary theories. A core principle of the program is that nutrition extends beyond food and includes all things that nourish the body. The program includes lecturers from a variety of health perspectives and topics including: Positive Psychology, Effective Listening, Ayurveda, Food Cravings, Organic Farming, and School Lunches. IIN teaches the concept of bio-individuality: that each of us is unique in our biological make-up; therefore our nutritional needs vary from person to person. There is no one right path to health!
My interest in health and wellness led me to complete certification with the International Institute of Reflexology, as well as, training as a SoulCollage Facilitator. Both modalities support wellness and balance in our lives!
I also have an extensive background in the Information Technology industry in programming, analysis and project management. My analytical and project management skills are invaluable as a Health Coach, allowing me to better understand your needs and help you meet your goals.
